In this role I lead a team providing infrastructure, development and integration capabilities to enable the digital dimensions of Western's comprehensive growth agenda.

Australian Nuclear Science Technology Organisation (ANSTO), May 2014 - December 2017.

Directly responsible for the operational and strategic aspects of Information Technology across the entire organisation (corporate, government and research), with a focus on repairing, rejuvenating and transforming the organisations digital capacity and capability. With this in mind, I led a team of approximately 50 staff to deliver comprehensive Information Technology Services to a multi site organisation with over 1500 staff running the Nation's largest research infrastructure such as the OPAL Research Reactor and the Australian Synchrotron.

In this role I have been actively involved in the following project, including Perimeter Security, Data Centre Relocation, Wireless Network Upgrade and Disaster Recovery/ Business Continuity. My role in each of these projects varied but overall I was generally a solution architect and project manager.

In this role I was responsible for the operation and development of Wollongong Universities corporate and research infrastructure environment encompassing systems, network, storage, compute, applications and information management. In addition to this I lead teams working on flagship activities such as the Sustainable Buildings Research Centre, Early Start, Koolabong Village Redevelopment and Science Teaching Facility.

Responsible for the conduct of teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate), research, engagement and governance activities in the School of Computer Science and Software Engineering. In addition to this I was directly responsible for curriculum development in emerging areas such as Mobile Computing and had delivered significant programs offshore e.g. Singapore and Malaysia.
